Rules & Restrictions

Thanks so much for taking part in this epic event. Text the number above to compete. An assistant will get you squared away and answer any questions yo have. All styles of music and dance are welcome. All music and dance must be radio edited and community friendly. All acts must be signed up by 9/30/23. Sign-Up is 100% FREE!!! Ages 11-19 only!!!  Each act will be given 5 minutes of stage time. There will be staff on site to assist performers, and stage time will only start when all is ready.

Location, Time, & Door Price

This event will be held at The East Athens Dance Center, 390 McKinley Dr, Athens, Ga 30601.

The ticket are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Kids under 8 are free. You can buy tickets in advance HERE. This is a wonderful venue, auditorium style seating, a professional grade performance stage, pro audio sound, and dressing rooms for performers. All performers are encouraged to be ready to perform by 5:45pm. Order of performances will be randomly selected and issued to all performers at 6:00pm. The show will start promptly at 6:30pm. All guests and family of performer must have a ticket to enter event.

Hosts & Judges

This event will be hosted by Solo The Messenger. Solo's vision for Dream Catcher is that it would give each performer an inspiring journey of preparation and execution, allowing them to experience the realities of public performance, and what it takes to reach the next level. Solo hand picks the judges from the professional fields of music, dance, and education; making sure to choose those who have an understanding of music psychology, and an appreciation of art from all cultures. Judges are not announced until the start of competition.

Prizes

1st Place- $1000 Cash + #1 Trophy

2nd Place- $100 Cash + #2 Trophy

3rd Place- $50 Cash + #3 Trophy

1st Place winners under the age of 18 must have guardian present to receive cash winnings for safety purposes. If no guardian is present, winnings will be issued electronically or can be picked up the following morning from Exodus Klan Office.  

WITH LOVE

We started this event with love, and its a non-profit function. Its free for the kids to perform, kids under 8 enter free, and every dime we make goes toward paying the winners or making the event better. We ask that everyone be respectful, support all performances with cheers and clapping and show the world the spirit of true artistry on and off stage. Good luck to you all, and God bless.
